The Caribbean is one of our favourite winter sun destinations, each island has something different to offer visitors and there is much more to this luxurious destination than just sun worshipping, although we love to do a bit of that to!

Barbados Harbor holiday

Flight Time: 9 hours

Time Difference: GMT -4 hours

Weather: Barbados has a climate you can visit any time of year, to avoid the rainy weather visit December to April, even in the wet season the sun is never far away.

Take a stroll along the boardwalk, explore the historical capital Bridgetown and don't forget all the amazing beaches where you can snorkel with turtles, learn to surf or just relax in the sun. You will not run out of things to do in Barbados! One not to be missed place to go is Oistins Fish Fry, enjoy freshly caught mahi mahi, marlin and lobster with lively music for the best Caribbean party on a Friday and Saturday night!

Jamaica beach holiday

Weather: Year round sun makes the island an exceptional holiday destination, great weather and deals can be often found in November just before the peak season.

Jamaica has so much to offer food, culture and relaxation! But if you are a thrill seeker this is definitely the island for you! Start your adventure at Ricks Café, one of the most popular places on the island, enjoy amazing food whilst watching a breathtaking sunset or for the more adventurous out there dive off the 35ft cliffs into the glistening sea. And of course a trip to Jamaica would not be complete with out trying authentic jerk chicken.

Saint Lucia

St Lucia holiday

Weather: Late spring and early summer offer the warmest weather if you are a music lover why not visit in early May to attend the Jazz and Arts festival held at Pigeon Island National Landmark.

Join the party at the Gros Islet Street Party in Saint Lucia, every Friday night join the locals with live music, DJ sets and some of the best barbeque on the island there is nowhere better to be. During the day explore the beautiful scenery from the tree tops, ride the open-air aerial tram or if you want to get your heart racing with not go on a zip lining adventure.

  • Explore the various hiking trails

  • Climb the Petit Piton or for more of a challenge try the Gros Piton

  • Bathe in the black water pools at the Sulphur Springs

  • Swim in the Waterfalls at Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens

  • Snorkel at Anse Cochon


Antigua harbor

Flight Time: 9 hours

Time Difference: GMT -4 hours

Weather: Escape the winter cold to this tropical paradise, December to April is dry season but as such the hotels tend to be pricier and get booked up quick. Why not experience something a bit different and visit at the end of July and join the fun of carnival!

The crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches make this the perfect island for relaxation. If you are like us though and want to explore further then we have some great things to add to your to do list. Top of that list is to visit Stingray City, Southern Rays hang out here and they love the attention and of course the food that tourists bring. Feed them their breakfast and jump in the water with these friendly giants.

  • Explore the rainforest from the tree tops on a zip line adventure

  • Watch the sunset from Shirley Heights

  • Test your nerves at Devil's Bridge

  • Hike to the Pillars of Hercules

  • Take in the history visit the two remaining sugar mills on the island at Betty's Hope


Swim with pigs in Bahamas

Flight Time: 9 hours 30 mins

Time Difference: GMT -5 hours

Weather: As with the other Caribbean islands the dry season runs from December to April and is considered peak season.

Explore the island of the Bahamas and immerse yourself in its rich history. Famous for its pirating history there are plenty of opportunities to see the remnants of the past. The coastlines provide amazing activities swim with sharks, go snorkeling in the famous Thunderball Grotto or why not go on a submarine adventure.

  • Visit the Forts of Nassau

  • Try authentic food at Arawak Cay - be sure to try the local specialty conch

  • Feed the iguanas at Bitter Guana Cay

  • Swim with the famous pigs of Exuma

  • Learn about Lucayan people at Clifton Heritage Park
